The AGPJ is the leading national organization representing general practitioners and primary care physicians in Jamaica. Our mission is to support, strengthen, and advocate for the role of GPs as essential pillars of our health care system.
We are committed to fostering professional excellence and providing a voice for family doctors who are often the first—and most enduring—point of contact in a patient’s health journey. With a focus on holistic, community-centered care, the AGPJ works tirelessly to ensure GPs are recognized, respected, and resourced to deliver quality care to all Jamaicans.

We offer year-round virtual and in-person CME sessions, including webinars, conferences, and on-demand learning to keep our members up-to-date on medical advancements and public health priorities.

AGPJ actively engages with government bodies, health authorities, and other stakeholders to advocate for policies and resources that enhance the lives of GPs and their patients.
